BRITISH VICKERS LIGHT TANK Mk.VI a/b/c

Description: The Vickers Light Tank Mk.VI entered production in 1936 and was the culmination of a series of machine gun armed light tanks produced during the 1930s. At the outbreak of war these mainly reconnaissance focused light tanks formed the major part of Britain’s tank strength being used in France, Greece, Malta, Crete, Syria and North Africa.

SHERMAN CALLIOPE

Description: The Rocket Launcher T34 (Calliope) was a tank-mounted multiple rocket launcher used by the US Army during WWII. The launcher was placed atop the tank, and fired a barrage of 4.5 in (114mm) rockets from 60 launch tubes. It adopts its name from the musical instrument “Calliope”, also known as the steam organ.

MATILDA "HEDGEHOG"

Description: Based on the British Matilda tank, this vehicle was fitted with a 7 spigot ’Hedgehog’ naval mortar. The launcher folded horizontal, facing forward for travel, then could be raised up to 80 degrees for firing. It fired forward over the turret. Not being traversable, the driver had to aim the vehicle at the target.
