GRUMMAN TOMCAT F-14D
Description : The F-14D was introduced in 1990 as new production aircraft or F-14A remanufactured. The F-14D Tomcat was the most advanced F-14 deployed. It remained in service until 2008 when all the Tomcat aircraft should have been replaced by the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet. The US Navy officially retired the F-14 Tomcat during a ceremony held at Naval Air Station Oceana on September 22, 2006. Armament options include TARPS Pod, LANTRIN Pod, ECM Pod, AIM-54 Phoenix missiles, AIM-9 Sidewinders, AIM-7 Sparrow IIIs, 2000 lb. JDAM bombs, 500 lb. LGB bombs and 500 lb.Mk-82 bombs. Seated pilot or standing figures of pilot and radar officer plus two fuel tanks.
