Description: The Grumman HU-16 Albatross is a large twin-radial engine amphibious flying boat that was utilized by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard, primarily as a search and rescue and combat search and rescue aircraft. Originally designated as the SA-16 for the USAF and the JR2F-1 and UF-1 for the USN and USCG, it was redesignated as the HU-16 in 1962.
Description: The C-123 Provider was an American military transport aircraft designed by Chase Aircraft and subsequently built by Fairchild Aircraft for the United States Air Force. In addition to its USAF service, which included later service with the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard, it also went on to serve most notably with the United States Coast Guard and various air forces in South East Asia. During the Vietnam War, the aircraft was used to spray Agent Orange.
Description: Cargo Aircraft C-123B was built in 1953 by Chase Aircraft Company. The aircraft was adopted by USAF and widely used in various military conflicts under many variants . The last use for this plane was with the US Coast Guards as long range sea reconnaissance.

HU-16E "ALBATROS" US COAST GUARDS
Description: First prototype of this amphibious airplane rose into the air on October 1947. After test program, US Navy has adopted new hydroplane. First serial was produced by Grumman company in june of 1949. It was actively used during Korean and Vietnam wars where crews managed to save life of 229 pilots. Finally HU-16E last version was used during the 80’s by US Coast Guards.
